Shops in Washington Accepting Artists & Printmakers
These 8 shops carrying art and prints publicly say they accept submissions on their own websites. All are in Washington; see all 165 nationwide or the Seattle page.
The 8 shops
Columbia City Gallery Gift Shop
Gift shop inside a Columbia City community gallery, carrying functional art, home decor, gifts and jewelry by local artists and craftspeople.
Big Whale Consignment
Vintage furniture, art and decor consignment store with an in-store makers market of local artists' ceramics, art, candles and home wares.
Heads up: The store mainly resells vintage furniture and decor; the makers market is one section.
Seattle ReCreative
Nonprofit creative-reuse store whose retail gallery shows month-long exhibitions of art made from reclaimed materials.
Heads up: It's a gallery exhibition slot, not ongoing shelf space.
Suquamish Museum Store
Suquamish Tribe's museum store featuring handcrafted work that celebrates Indigenous creativity.
Heads up: Open only to American Indian / Alaska Native artists.
Push/Pull
Ballard art store, gallery and class space (with store-made paints and inks) run 'by artists, for artists', selling zines, comics and artist merch.
Heads up: Not exclusive in the strict sense, but no artists already carried by another Ballard-area shop.
Bainbridge Arts & Crafts
Nonprofit gallery and shop on Winslow Way showing artists and craftspeople, with retail and exhibition opportunities.
Heads up: Terms or commission aren't published.
BIMA Museum Store (Bainbridge Island Museum of Art)
Bainbridge Island Museum of Art's store, consigning work by artists.
Common Objects Bookstore (Common Area Maintenance)
Artist-led nonprofit's bookstore for independent publications, zines and media that may not have other outlets; prioritizes WA artists but open to all.
Heads up: Their page says submissions will be reviewed by Nov 30 for 2027 consignment.
